Description
Blimp Chicken is a 3D arcade flight and combat game for the Nintendo DS.
You have taken the company blimp for a joyride with a cooler full of drinks, and the Air Force (and nature itself) are not amused. Fly a lumbering airship through a warzone of fighter jets, birds, and skyscrapers.
Features
- Survival mode: last as long as you can as jets, birds, and the difficulty ramp close in.
- Destructible city: ram skyscrapers to wreck them for points, or fly straight through enemy jets to down them.
- Drink and smoke: hold a beer to your mouth to heal (at the cost of a woozy screen wobble), or light a cigarette for a temporary speed boost.
- Local wireless VS: up to 8 players in a last-blimp-standing dogfight. Every console runs the ROM (needs real hardware).
- Emblem editor: paint a custom 32x32 design with the stylus, wrapped onto both sides of your blimp.
- Original soundtrack and SFX, an animated opening crawl, and hull-color customization.
Controls
- D-pad (or Y/A/X/B): steer and float
- L / R: throttle
- Touch screen: drag from the center and flick to throw a drink or cigarette
- START: pause
Direct-boots on any DS, DSi, or 3DS via a flashcard or TWiLight Menu++. No BIOS needed.
